Description

The A68HM-K AMD Socket FM2+ Micro ATX Motherboard from ASUS is designed to fit into standard-size mATX cases. Compatible with 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows 8.1, 8, 7, and XP, the motherboard supports AMD Socket FM2+ Athlon/A- series processors and delivers power and speed for Internet-browsing, gaming and multimedia, CAD software, and home servers. Combined with ASUS UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface), this feature enables DDR4 memory frequencies and helps lower latencies and enhance stability while overclocking. The motherboard also features USB 3.0 boost, UEFI BIOS, optimal cooling, ASUS Q-Design, AI Suite 3, and Push Notice.

The mATX form factor of this motherboard comes with two DIMM slots that can each hold 32 GB DDR4 RAM modules for quad channel memory architecture. It also has four SATA III 6 Gb/s connectors, for internal hard drives and solid state drives. To provide data redundancy, it offers RAID 0, 1, 10, JBOD modes support. For PCIe expansion, there are several available ports such as one PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16, one PCIe 2.0 x1, and one PCI.

The back panel offers a variety of ports including two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and three audio jacks. It provides support disc such as drivers, ASUS utilities, ASUS Update, and Antivirus software (OEM version).
