Description

The Republic of Gamers Rampage V Edition 10 LGA 2011-v3 EATX Motherboard from ASUS is a unique version of their flagship motherboard, the Rampage V Extreme. The Rampage V Edition 10 has been built to celebrate the Republic of Gamers' 10th anniversary and is designed for overclockers and hardcore gamers. It has an Extended ATX (EATX) form factor and utilises Intel Core i7 series processors that are compatible with the LGA 2011-v3 socket and the Intel X99 chipset.

The Rampage V Edition 10 has eight DIMM slots that can support up to 128GB of DDR4 RAM, or 16GB per slot, with a maximum overclocked frequency of 3333 MHz. It also supports a total of 10 x SATA III 6 Gb/s ports, 1 x M.2 Socket 3 (only supports PCIe storage), and 1 x U.2 port (supports PCIe 3.0 x4 NVM Express storage). PCIe expansion is possible using 4 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 slots, as well as 1 x PCIe 2.0 x4 slot and 1 x PCIe 2.0 x1 slot. USB connectivity is achieved using 2 x USB 3.1 Type-C and 2 x USB 3.1 Type-A ports, all of which are on the back panel and provide speeds up to 10 Gb/s, as well as 8 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports (4 on the back panel & 4 at mid-board) at speeds up to 5 Gb/s and 6 x USB 2.0 ports (2 on the back panel & 4 at mid-board) at speeds up to 480 Mb/s.

High quality audio is delivered via the integrated SupremeFX HD audio codec that not only provides 7.1 channel surround sound, but is complemented by an external SupremeFX Hi-Fi audio amplifier, while Sonic Radar II displays an overlay that shows what opponents and teammates are up to on the battlefield. Network connectivity is achieved using the Intel I218-V and I211-AT Gigabit LAN controllers, as well as 3x3 802.11ac Wi-Fi. For those interested in multi-GPU use, up to 4-way/3-way/quad-GPU NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX is supported. The Republic of Gamers Rampage V Edition 10 LGA 2011-v3 EATX Motherboard is protected by a limited 3-year warranty.

Features

  • One-Click 5-Way Optimisation for easy and stable overclocking
  • Fan Xpert 4 for provides advanced fan and water-pump controls. Via onboard thermal sensors and hardware-level 4-pin/3-pin PWM/DC mode detection, Fan Xpert 4 helps ensure every fan achieves the best balance of high cooling performance and low noise. The Rampage V Edition 10 includes a dedicated water-pump header on board for the best water-cooling efficiency, and has support for high-amp fans of up to 3A - offering cooling flexibility for extreme-overclocking endeavours or water-cooled builds
  • The Turbo Core App tuning panel puts a friendly face on the process of tuning and boosting multiple hardware components, making it easy for users to maximise gaming fun and overclocking efforts
  • Extreme Engine DIGI+ power is a digital-power controller. It comprises a custom-designed PWM controller, PowIRstage IR3555 MOSFETs from Infineon, MicroFine alloy chokes, and 10K black-metallic capacitors to deliver smooth and precise core voltages
  • Second-generation ASUS T-Topology improves DDR4 memory overclocking. A customised trace layout reduces crosstalk and coupling noise to help ensure time-aligned signal transfers for improved memory stability and compatibility
  • Aura RGB lighting has been added, including on the PCIe slots and an extra 4-pin RGB-strip header to allow lighting effects to go beyond the motherboard itself. The Aura lighting-control utility will manage the motherboard's built-in RGB LEDs and any attached RGB strips. The Aura software affords the creative freedom of nine different lighting schemes, and it enables the illumination effects to be synchronised with the ever-growing portfolio of Aura-capable gear
  • Engineered to provide improved retention and shearing resistance, the SafeSlot PCIe is reinforced to prevent graphics cards from sagging and/or breaking the slot. Manufactured in a single step using a new insert-moulding process that integrates the slot with the fortifying metal for an inherently stronger slot, SafeSlot is then firmly anchored to the motherboard through additional solder points
  • The Rampage V Edition 10 comes with SupremeFX Hi-Fi, a front-panel headphone amp that delivers pure, unadulterated audio delivered straight to the listener's ears. The ESS ES9018K2M digital-to-analogue convertor (DAC), dual Texas Instruments LM4562 op-amps, and TPA6120A2 headphone amp work in harmony to faithfully reproduce every detail without distortion or jitter. The result is audiophile-grade 32-bit/386 kHz and output of over 6 VRMS to up to 600 Ohms headphones. There is also a Cirrus Logic analogue-to-digital convertor (ADC) for exceptional recording quality. For more gaming victories, the stealthy Sonic Radar II overlay maps battlefield sounds to help players pinpoint opponents and teammates at a glance
  • The Rampage V Edition 10 features dual Intel Ethernet controllers (I219-V and I211-AT) for faster and smoother gaming. Intel's LAN has the serious double advantage of reducing CPU overhead and offering high TCP and UDP throughput. There is also 802.11ac Wi-Fi with a 3x3 dual-band 2.4/5 GHz for transfer speeds of up to 1300 Mbps
  • The Rampage V Edition 10 also allows gamers to unleash the full power of multiple graphics cards for visuals that almost never stutter, and with just the right amount of space between each card. Onboard switches enable DIYers to selectively enable or disable cards, while a handy SLI/CrossfireX switch prompts Rampage V Edition 10's integrated Aura integrated LEDs to guide the way when creating multi-GPU setups
