The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs. There is a DisplayPort 1.3 output, an HDMI 2.0b output, and a dual link DVI-D output. Combined with AMD's Eyefinity, the GPU can provide an immersive gaming experience using up to three monitors.

To keep this card cool, ASUS implemented their DirectCU II cooler. The DirectCU II cooler quietly keeps the card's operating temperature in cheque. The cooler uses dual fans and a direct-GPU contact heatpipes to transport heat away from the GPU. 0 dB technology allows for the card to stop the fans and be completely silent when the GPU remains under a set temperature. This type of cooler is most useful in medium to large towers where airflow inside the case is unobstructed.

Usually pulling less than 75 watts, the Radeon RX 460 doesn't require a separate power connector and provides lower temperatures.

CrossFire
