Make it Ring

The Modamp Module gives you a feature-rich ring modulator that creates metallic and bell-like sounds as well as a number of modulation effects. You can apply modulation to any signal such as from VCO's, or LFO's via the IN A and IN B jacks fed out via the VCA output. The 1005 module also features INA and INB attenuators, an UNMOD gain control, VCA with gain control, and a choice of exponential or linear response. Ratio and tune controls also allow you to control and balance the frequency of 2 external VCOs for convenience. The illuminated UNMOD and MOD switches can be used to either disable or enable modulation effects.

Ins and Outs

When it comes to I/O, the 1005 Modamp Module gives you comprehensive connectivity. Inputs A and B for the modulator inputs where signal A is modulated by signal B; CVA and CVB connect to your VCO's frequency CV inputs for remote control; CV IN to control the VCA level from another module. The GATE, MOD, and UNMOD jacks also give you a choice of remote control of the UNMOD and MOD switches. While the VCA OUT provides the unmodulated or modulated signal, allowing you to use the VCA independently when in UNMOD mode.
