Specific tripod models it will fit include A674TM, C674TM, A673TM, and C673TM. The most notable advantages of a ground spreader over a mid-level spreader are faster set up because the spreader tends to unfold itself and the ability to put weight on it for added stability. The SP06 can serve as a replacement part or as an alternative if the tripod you used currently features a mid-level spreader.
