It can create detailed images with an optical resolution of 600 dpi, which can be interpolated to 1200 x 1200 dpi, and 48-bit internal processing. Many document types can be handled with the 50-sheet ADF with compatible sizes ranging from 2 x 2" up to 8.5 x 14". A long document scanning mode is available for working with banners up to 34" in length. Also, the ADF has single-pass duplexing capabilities with an impressive speed of 70 ipm. For ease of use, the ADS-2200 has a walk-up USB port for scanning directly to a portable storage device. And, it has USB 2.0 connectivity for working with most computers.
