Use a USB Mini-B Male to 2x USB Type-A Male Y-Cable from CablesToGo when your USB Mini-B device isn't receiving enough power from your computer. A separate, color-coded auxiliary USB Type-A connecter plugs into a second USB port in your computer to provide additional power-over-USB to your portable hard drive or other peripheral that needs an extra jolt of power. Note: Note: This cable is not designed to split USB signals to multiple computers. The two USB Type-A connectors are meant to plug into USB ports on the same computer.
