Description
Celestron's MicroDirect 1080P HDMI Handheld Digital Microscope is an ideal companion for field trips or laboratory work. It can be used as a handheld device or be mounted on its included stand. Featuring a 3.5MP, 1/3" CMOS imaging sensor, this microscope can stream up to 1080p (30 fps) videos at up to 220x magnification via its Mini-HDMI port directly to an HDTV monitor. You can also save images and videos of your discoveries on an external microSD card via a built-in memory slot or on your PC through a mini-USB port. To ensure your images are bright and crisp, the microscope is outfitted with an LED illumination ring. You have the option of controlling your shutter manually or via your connected PC.
If you use the mounted configuration, the included stand offers a flat square polymer base with two metal clips for securing your specimens. Its metallic support shaft allows for height adjustments and has a coarse focusing wheel. For fine focusing adjustment, use a built-in wheel on the body of the device.
