G-Technology 12TB G-Speed Q 4-Bay Storage Array

Description

The 12TB G-Speed Q 4-Bay Storage Array from G-Technology features a 12TB storage capacity capable of holding a variety of files including HD movies, videos, photos, music, documents. Easily connect this storage array to both Macs and PCs via the integrated USB 3.0, FireWire 800 and eSATA ports. Each included Enterprise Class Drive comes equipped with a 7200rpm drive speed along with up to a 64MB cache memory buffer.

The G-Speed Q can be configured in RAID 0 for maximum capacity and performance, or in RAID 5 for data security and redundancy. Please note that Maximum capacity in RAID 5 is reduced by 25% due to data redundancy and all G-Speeds are pre-formatted in RAID 5 to save you time. Simply reformat to RAID 0 to achieve full capacity. However, the drives are only hot-swappable in RAID 5 allowing your data to be protected in the event of a single hard drive failure.
