Transcend 960GB JetDrive 725 SATA III JetDrive Internal SSD

Description

The 960GB JetDrive 725 SATA III JetDrive Internal SSD from Transcend lets you upgrade your current drive with this SSD which offers up to 500 MB/s read and 430 MB/s write speeds and 960GB storage capabilities. Also provided with the drive is a complete upgrade kit that includes tools, instructions, and an enclosure case that is less than 0.5" thick for housing your original drive.

Inside the kit are two types of screwdrivers and a step-by-step guide that instructs you how to open your MacBook and copy over the data from your original drive to the JetDrive SSD. Once the JetDrive has been installed, Transcend has also included JetDrive Toolbox software giving you health statuses and enabling TRIM support.

If you want to reuse the original drive as a portable drive for extra storage, Transcend has also provided an enclosure case for it. The enclosure is made from aluminium for protection and is powered via USB 3.0 with up to 5 Gb/s transfer speeds. When you need to travel, a pouch is also included to protect the enclosure from scratches.
