Description
The Fortis F-18SUB from Fender is an 18"(45.7 cm) powered subwoofer designed to work with Fender's Fortis F-10BT, F12BT, and F15BT full-range tops, and is well suited for DJs, schools, houses of worship, solo performers, businesses, or small-to-medium sized venues. The subwoofer utilises a 1000 W Class-D power amplifier and an 18"(45.7 cm) woofer to deliver a frequency response of 30 to 200 Hz with a maximum SPL of 134 dB.
Connections to the speaker are provided on the rear panel and include a pair of combo XLR-1/4" inputs and a pair of XLR outputs for signal pass-through. The speaker is equipped with a level control and a low frequency contour AEQ switch. The 9-ply void-less plywood enclosure features a durable paint coating. The 35 mm pole socket allows for quick and easy deployment of the tops, without the need for speaker stands. The enclosure features two recessed handles for ease transportation. The F-18SUB ships with a power cord.
