Description
This GVM Dual Charger with BP-U65 5600mAh Battery bundle provides a comprehensive solution for powering Sony PMW and PXW series cameras. The dual lithium-ion charger supports various BP-U batteries and provides approximately 1.5A of power when charging a single battery and 1A per battery when charging two simultaneously. Supporting 100 to 240V worldwide power input, it can be used internationally using the proper plug adapter, sold separately.
The 5600mAh battery, which uses copper metal contacts for improved connectivity, confirms remaining capacity via a 4-LED status indicator at the press of a button on the rear, where it's easily accessible.
The battery also offers a D-Tap port for powering accessories and a USB port for charging/powering mobile devices. Similarly, the charger also features a USB port that can be used for charging mobile devices (when the charger is plugged into an AC outlet).
The charger's LCD confirms the battery's charging status as well as the charge status of a mobile device connected to the charger's USB port. The charger comes with an AC power supply and also a car lighter adapter so you can use the charger on the road. When the car lighter adapter is used, an icon on the charger's LCD confirms its status. The charger also features built-in overcharge, overcurrent, and short circuit protection.
