The K-Tek KE-144 Aluminium Boom Pole with Internal Coiled XLR Cable and Case Kit provides a lightweight boom pole solution for ENG (Electronic News Gathering), EFP (Electronic Field Production), and other field recording applications. It features the K-Tek KE144CC Avalon Series Aluminium Boom Pole with bottom-mounted internal XLR cable and a KBLT52B Boom Pole Case.

The K-Tek KE-144CC Avalon Series Aluminium Boompole provides a moderately priced, lightweight boompole solution for ENG, EFP and other field recording applications. Its sturdy aluminium design is tough enough to endure the rigours of road use while remaining lightweight and travel worthy. The 5 aluminium sections telescope and collapse (99 to 365 cm), and will easily store in any standard equipment case. The captive-collet coupling system locks each section in place for even further reliability.

The large KBLT52B Boom Pole Case from K-Tek is a three-sided case with a semi-hard clamshell design with zippers and a removable inner pouch. It is the perfect solution for carrying and storing your boom pole and other accessories.

The black external fabric of the case is rip-stop nylon. Three main fabric straps on the inside bottom allow you to secure the boom pole, plus three more straps on the inside top are great for securing things such as cables, headphones, or even another boom pole.

The removable inner pouch is perfect for holding windscreens, shockmounts, cables, adapters, or anything else you can think of. The KBLT52B will fit any pole with a minimum collapsed length of 132 cm or smaller. The case provides handles for easy carrying, and includes a shoulder strap for optional travel comfort.
