Description

The Lanparte Professional DSLR Kit V2 provides you with the same fully loaded 15mm rod support rig for DSLR and mirrorless cameras as the PK-02 kit, with the exception of the V-mount battery and HDMI monitor. The rig is built around a 15mm rod V-lock bridge plate and a large C-shaped support frame, with a pair of 14.4" long rods provided to support an included follow focus and matte box. For shoulder-mounted configurations, the kit comes with an adjustable dual handgrip system, a padded shoulder support, and an adjustable Magic Arm to mount an optional monitor or EVF. Rounding out the kit is a battery adapter plate that accepts V-mount batteries, and a LP-E6 dummy battery pack lets you power select Canon cameras like the 5D and 7D from the adapter plate. When not in use, the key components of the rig can be safely stored inside a hard protection case with custom pre-cut foam interior.

Your camera attaches to the bridge plate via a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screw. The bridge plate offers 1.6" of height adjustment and features a quick-release camera plate for easy removal of your camera from the rig. At the bottom of the bridge plate is a V-lock for mounting onto V-lock tripod adapter plates, or for attaching the v-lock shoulder support directly behind the camera. There are also 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for direct attachment to tripod heads. The C-shaped support frame mounts onto the rods included with the bridge plate, providing 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory mounting threads and 15mm rod clamps at the top for adding an included top handle. In addition to the top handle, rods on top of the rig are useful for attaching the Magic Arm monitor/EVF mount.

The included matte box fits lenses with a maximum front outer diameter of 150mm. It features two rotating 4 x 5.65" filter stages, filter tray inserts for compatibility with 4x4" filters, and a swing-away design for rapid lens changes. Removable top and side flags are included to block unwanted light from hitting your lens. Other accessories that mount in front of the camera are the Universal Grip V2 and follow focus, which both utilise a clamping design that lets you attach them to the 15mm rods without having to remove the matte box. The follow focus features integrated A and B hard stops that let you set start/end points on DSLR lenses with continuously rotating focus rings. The follow focus features a 0.8 pitch drive gear, which can be positioned on either side of the gearbox. For use with DSLR lenses that lack an integrated focus gear rings, an adjustable gear ring comes included. A lens support is also included when using long and heavy telephoto lens.

The V-mount battery adapter plate can be mounted on 15mm rods or directly on top of the shoulder support (when the shoulder support isn't mounted behind the bridge plate). It features a V-mount for attaching brick-style batteries and provides DC outputs with different voltages (5, 7.2, 12, and 15V). To power a Canon 5D, 7D, or other select Canon DSLRs from the adapter plate, use the LP-E6 dummy battery. Additionally, the Battery Pinch has a built-in HDMI splitter. A 25" HDMI to mini HDMI with right-angle connector cable is provided for sending your camera output to the splitter input, and 39" and 59" HDMI cables are provided for outputting the signal to two different devices from the splitter.

The Lanparte Universal Grip V2 is an adjustable dual handle system for 15mm LWS rod support rigs. Each handle features three points of adjustment, letting you position each handgrip at the desired height, angle, and distance from the rods. Silica-gel surface on the handles provide a comfortable, non-slip grip. For easy attachment and removal of the system without having to remove other rod-mounted accessories, the Universal Grip V2 utilises a quick-release 15mm rod clamp, which locks in place using a single lever.

The LanParte MB-02 4 x 5.65" Rod Mounted Swing Away Matte Box for 15mm Rods is a 4 x 5.65" matte box that features carbon fibre and aluminium construction that makes it lightweight and durable. Designed to work with lenses with a maximum outer diameter of 150mm, the matte box features two rotating 4 x 5.65" (Panavision-sized) filter stages and mounts onto lightweight 15mm rods. The matte box incorporates a swing-away design for rapid lens changes, and features 1" of height adjustment that allows you to adjust for non-standard camera heights.

Both filter trays can slide in the rotating stages, allowing you to adjust their height. The included removable top and side flags can be precisely set and locked to block stray light from flaring your lens. An anti-reflection fabric sleeve is included to protect your image by blocking stray light from behind the camera sneaking around the lens and bouncing off of filters in the matte box. Please note the matte box does not include any support rods.

The Lanparte Follow Focus V2 clamps onto 15mm LWS rods, allowing you to smoothly and accurately pull focus with cinema and DSLR lenses equipped with gear rings. Its quick release design that lets you easily snap it onto the rods without having to remove other rod-mounted accessories, such as a matte box. Integrated into the follow focus are A and B hard stops, letting you set start/end points on DSLR lenses that have continuously rotating focus rings. Additionally, the follow focus features an ARRI standard accessory port for using optional focus whips and speed cranks. A standard 0.8 pitch gear comes includes, which can be positioned on either side of the gearbox, as well as a removable magnetic marking disc. Also included is an adjustable gear ring for use with DSLR lenses that lack integrated focus gear rings.

The Lanparte V-Mount Bridge Plate V2 is a height-adjustable 15mm rod baseplate with a V-lock mounting interface at the bottom. It features rod clamps for attaching a pair of 15mm LWS rods to support a matte box, follow focus, or other rod-mounted accessory. The height of the base plate is adjustable up to 1.6" by loosening a single knob, allowing you to achieve proper lens height when using a matte box. A pair of 14.4" long 15mm rods come included.

The quick-release plate features a dovetail design that slides or drops onto the baseplate, locking into place using a release lever. The plate includes 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws, with threads on the side of baseplate provided for storing the unused screw. A safety lock prevents the plate from sliding off the baseplate when attached. At the bottom of the baseplate is a V-lock mount for interfacing with V-lock tripod adapter plates, such as the Sony VCT-14. For direct attachment to tripods and other equipment, there are 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes integrated into the V-lock.

The Lamparte C-Arm V2 is a C-shape support that fits onto any industry standard 15mm rod system. It allows your rig to be held from the top, when used in conjunction with the top handle (sold separately). If you are using a Lanparte VMS-01 shoulder pad and base plate unit, you can use the included mounting adapters to attach this arm directly onto the side of the VMS-01, saving a huge amount of space on the rig, and keeping the handle directly above the camera.

As well as the special method of mounting, the CA-02 model is larger than the standard CA-01 C arm, making it ideal for larger cameras. Clamping collars allow the weight balance to be quickly shifted without completely re-configuring the rig. This enables you to point the camera downwards, upwards, or horizontal, in a matter of seconds. There is also a horizontal weight balance adjustment screw at the top of the arm, so you can ensure your camera is perfectly level, even if the weight is unevenly balanced. Built into the support is a secure hot shoe mount, as well as a 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 screw thread, for easy mounting of compatible accessories. The CA-02 is supplied with one set of rods to connect the upper arm section to the lower arm sections.

The Lanparte Top Handle is designed for camera cages and rigs that use or accept 15mm LWS rods positioned above the camera. It is constructed from CNC machined aluminium and features a dual 15mm rod clamp and a non-slip silica-gel grip. A pair of 7.87" long aluminium rods come included.

Mount a 1/4"-20 accessory to your 15mm LWS rig with the Lanparte Magic Arm and gain the flexibility to fit it in nearly any orientation you require. Once you have the accessory positioned, twist the knob to secure the arm, holding your mounted accessory fast.

Balance your rig on your shoulder with Lanparte 's V-Lock Shoulder Support . With the V-lock system, this unit can be quickly mounted and unmounted from a compatible V-lock baseplate for smooth transitions between tripod and handheld shooting. The cushioned, ergonomic shoulder pad is contoured for comfort during long takes and shooting sessions. The front and rear of the shoulder pad feature rod clamps for 15mm rods. You can use the included 15mm rods to mount external recorders, counterweights, or other helpful accessories for additional functionality and better rig balance.

Power your camera rig with the LanParte VBP-01 V-Mount Battery Pinch . Featuring multiple power outputs and an integrated HDMI splitter, this unit provides effective power and video signal management. Three barrel jacks provide 12, 7.4, and 5 VDC of power output to different rig components, while a USB output is available for charging your mobile or wireless device. A barrel jack power input can charge the battery while tethered. Using the integrated 15mm LWS rod clamp, this battery plate can be mounted onto the rear of a shoulder rig. Having the device in this configuration allows you to use it and the battery as a counterweight for an otherwise front-heavy rig.

The E6 Battery Dummy Pack from Lanparte is a dummy battery that allows you to power your camera from an external power supply, if you don't want to use battery power. The E6 is compatible with the following camera models: Canon 5D3, 5D2, 7D, and 60D. This dummy pack has a full decoding chip inside.

This 26" HDMI to Right-Angle Mini-HDMI Cable from Lanparte is used to connect your camera to a monitor or HDMI splitter for HDSLR video shooting. The 90° connector plugs securely into your camera and is designed to offer a reliable and durable connection. Additionally, this cable is capable of supporting Full HD 1080p video streams.

When using long or heavy lenses on your mirrorless camera or DSLR, extra support can be provided by the Lanparte Telae-Lens Support V2 when mounted on a 15mm LWS rig. The lens support distributes the weight of the lens along the length of the rig, reducing stress on the camera's lens mount. The support arm can be adjusted in height to conform to the supported lens's diameter while the flexible rubber ring can be adjusted to compensate for torsional force during focus pulls.

The durable and watertight Lanparte ABS Protection Case features a custom pre-cut foam interior designed to hold and protect the key components of Lanparte DSLR camera rig kits. A pair of wheels and an extendable pull bar are provided for easy transport, as well as a top handle and two side handles for carrying.

Lightweight Construction

The matte box itself is made out of carbon fibre, with aluminium used for the support structure. This provides a lightweight yet sturdy unit that is appropriate for shooting hand-held or with stabiliser rigs, when every ounce counts.

Swing Away Design

The swing-away design allows you to quickly move the matte box out of the way to cheque or change lenses, without having to remove the matte box from the support rods. This way you don't have to hand off the matte box to someone else, hold it under an arm or between your knees, or hang it under the rods while you work, greatly speeding your workflow and reducing the chance of dropping the matte box or having a filter tray fall out.

Height Adjustable

Sometimes during production, things just don't line up. The height adjustable swing away bracket allows you to adjust the height of the matte box up to 1" to compensate for misalignments or non-standard lens centre height.

Rotating 4 x 5.65 Filter Trays

The matte box features an independently rotating 4 x 5.65" filter trays; this allows you to simultaneously rotate two filters, such as one polariser and one graduated filter, or even two graduated filters, for creative effect. An included 4 x 4 insert allows you to use a 4 x 4" filter in the 4 x 5.65" tray, the insert prevents light from sneaking around the smaller filter.

Top & Side Flags

• The removable top and side flags provide you additional flare control and attach to the matte box with a lockable hinged assembly. This allows you to precisely set your flags to match the edge of frame for different lenses and lock them in place so that they don't move during the shot.
• Each side flag is made from two pieces with a pivot point that allows you to pivot the outer flap approximately 45° providing additional height so that the side flags can butt up against the top flag when it is in a raised position. The outer flap of the side flags run in a track, and a locking thumb nut allows you to lock the side flags pivot adjustment.

Universal Anti-Reflection Sleeve

A flexible fabric universal sleeve adjusts to the outer diameter of your lens, providing a light-tight seal so that light from behind the camera cannot leak through where the lens joins the matte box and reflect off filters to flare your image.

19mm Rod Support

The MB-02 can be converted for use on 19mm support rods via optional adapters or an optional 19mm support bracket.
