Description

The MSI H270M Mortar Arctic Motherboard features a micro-ATX form factor, an Intel H270 chipset, and an LGA1151 socket, letting you create a compact desktop computer that runs on a 6th- or 7th-generation Intel processor. Regardless of the small design, the H270M Mortar still sports two PCIe 3.0 x16, two PCIe 3.0 x1, and four DDR4 DIMM slots. Having access to two PCIe x16 slots allows you to instal dedicated graphics cards and link them using AMD CrossFire technology. To keep up with the fast performance from your CPU and graphics cards, an M.2 slot is on board so the system can utilise ultra-fast SSDs. For optical and 2.5"/3.5" storage drives, the motherboard comes with six SATA connections. Furthermore, it is designed with an arctic colour theme for matching your components.

On the rear panel, MSI has outfitted the H270M Mortar Arctic motherboard with Gigabit Ethernet, PS/2, HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI-D outputs. For external USB devices, four USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports are available. Moreover, one of the four USB 3.0 ports features a reversible USB Type-C interface so you can connect a USB-C cable the first try. There's also a built-in Realtek ALC892 processor that immerses you in sounds using your speakers or headphones connected to the motherboard's six audio jacks.
