- Rugged construction
- Hum compensation
- Supercardioid polar pattern
- Fast transient response
- Optimised for guitar cabinets
The Sennheiser E906 is a supercardioid instrument microphone primarily designed for close capturing guitar cabinets. The E906 features a dynamic element with a supercardioid polar pattern that provides optimum rejection of off-axis signal and residual noise. The E906 provides high headroom and low distortion when capturing signals at excessive sound pressure levels. The element responds to very fast attacks with extreme accuracy, without distortion. The E906 is an excellent choice for guitar cabinets as well as percussion and brass instruments.
Optimised for Guitar Cabinets
The E906's frequency and sensitivity response is optimised for accurate reproduction of guitar cabinets, brass and percussion.
Fast Transient Response
The E906 is capable of withstanding high sound pressure levels and fast attacks are reproduced accurately without distortion.
Supercardioid Polar Pattern
The supercardioid polar pattern is effective in minimising off-axis audio and residual noise that may cause feedback.
The built-in hum compensation coil suppresses hum and low frequency noise.
The rugged, durable construction is capable of handling life on the road or in studio.
