NITECORE i1 Intellicharger Battery Charger

Description

Charge a wide variety of lithium-ion/IMR batteries, USB devices, and even eGO products with the i1 Intellicharger IMR/Lithium-Ion Battery Charger from Nitecore . Using 100-240 VAC wall power you can charge one lithium-ion, IMR or eGO battery or an external USB device. A spring-loaded system securely clamps the battery in-place in the charging bay to ensure a proper connection, while a dedicated eGo terminal accepts compatible equipment. Plug a device's charging cord into to the standard USB port and if there is no battery present, or a battery is fully charged, the i1 will send the current through to the USB device.

The intelligent charging system automatically detects battery type, capacity, and current charge level, and selects the appropriate voltage and charging mode. It is compatible with batteries with a protective circuit; activating the charging cycle even when depleted. Based on the condition of the battery, the charger will select from constant current or constant voltage charging modes for efficiency with up to 1000mA output, and if the battery is left in the charger it will send a trickle-charge to ensure the battery stays at maximum charge. Upon completion, the charger stops automatically to prevent damage due to over-charging. Reverse polarity protection and short circuit prevention help ensure safe operation while protecting both the charger and battery. An indicator light shows the charging status of the battery and will show when reverse polarity is detected.
