Description

The black Onkyo P-3000R Hi-Fi Pre-Amplifier is a streamlined, 2-channel pre-amplifier that packs a treasure trove of stunning audio technology. The P-3000R handles both analogue and digital sources, with connectivity options including AES / EBU digital connectors and a USB device for PC audio. Separate 192 kHz / 32-bit TI Burr-Brown DACs for each channel ensure exact digital-to-analogue conversion. The P-3000R minimises interference and maintains signal quality, employs noise-reducing DIDRC (Dynamic Inter-modulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry) technology, a vibration-resistant chassis design, and independent amplifier circuitry. Moreover, the P-3000R's bi-amping capability provides you with great flexibility in how you set up your system.

• DIDRC (Dynamic Inter-Modulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry): The DIDRC technology captures noise beyond audible range and prevents beats from penetrating in to the audible range.
• Separate Digital / Analogue Circuitry: To prevent unwanted interference, the P-3000R employs physically separate circuitry for digital and analogue processing. It also features separate transformers for digital and analogue circuitry.
• Side-Mounted Circuit Board Construction: The circuit boards inside the P-3000R is cushioned by internal struts and affixed to the front, side, and rear panels. This method of construction prevents vibrations from the chassis from adversely affecting the circuit boards.
• PLL (Phase Locked Loop) Ultra-Low Jitter Technology: PLL ultra-low jitter technology reduces jitter by comparing the input and output phases of the digital signal and creating a precise clock waveform. This enhances the precision of digital signal processing and noticeably improves perceived audio quality.
