Its output is digitally regulated to ensure consistent beam intensity throughout the life of the battery, and overheat protection circuitry automatically steps down the output to prevent damage from excessive heat given off by the LED. The corrosion and scratch-resistant Type III hard-anodised aluminium housing is impact-resistant to 3.3' and IPX8 rated to be submersible to 6.6'.
