Description
The Pelican 7060 Rechargeable LED Flashlight from Pelican was developed in conjunction with the Los Angeles Police Department to produce a functional and practical, every-day carry light. This 164 lumen maximum output LED light features dual-activation switching that lets the user hold it several ways and still have instant access to a switch. With tailcap and body switches, its unique 3-way switching circuitry enables the user to turn the light on with one switch and off with another. Press either button for momentary activation, click either button for constant-on. Click any button to return to off. This versatile functionality lets the user hold and use the light at their side with a full grip, or in a tactical flashlight/pistol grip, depending on the situation.
Constructed of temperature, corrosion and impact-resistant Xenoy polymer, the light stays a comfortable temperature in any environment, and will stand up to the rigours of everyday use. Utilising Pelican's anti-roll octagonal design, the light can be placed on inclined surfaces and will stay in place. The body has a textured surface, with a deeply moulded handle to provide a secure grip in cold or wet conditions, or when wearing gloves.

I work in the security industry and purchased the 7060 as my main carry light, Fits nicely in the pant leg torch pocket of my 5:11 pants. So the light is on me all night instead of sitting on the car seat rolling around. I have been using it now for 5 months and it has not missed a beat. Quick to charge compared to my old polystinger and super bright. I have used it once to blind one person who came at me in the dark. If turned on for long periods the cooling fins do heat up but not to the point where you can not still hold it but they sure do get warm, I will be interested to see how they feel over the summer months. Overall it is a well balanced torch and having the two switches work well, no fumbling around in the dark to try and find the switch. I am not sure about the run times listed for the torch currently, mine does around 1 hour 20 and then starts to flash to warn that it needs charging, I see they have on the website a run time of 2.5 on full and 15 hrs on low. Maybe the new version has a high low setting. Overall a solid bright torch that should last well.Read more Read less
