The Seashell SS-2 Customizable Underwater Housing Kit allows you to use your digital camera underwater at a depth of up to 130' (40 m). It is also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes.

This universal housing can be customized; therefore, many different digital compact cameras with an internal zoom lens can be used in it. These include the Fujifilm F800EXR, Nikon S1, Olympus TG310, Panasonic FP1, Sony J10, and many others. You can customize the housing yourself to suit the camera you wish, as all necessary equipment for making adjustments is included. This housing has a shorter front than the Seashell SS-1, which is built for a different type of camera.

The housing has a 1/4-20 tripod socket so you can mount an external flash. Use your camera's internal flash to trigger an external slave strobe like those made by Fantasea, Sea & Sea, Ikelite, or Sealife. This will produce better images than you can get using the camera's built-in flash alone. The included flash diffuser helps soften the light of the flash, minimizing harshness and giving you enhanced image quality.
