Description

The FLEX-15 Kit with Wireless Remote and Upgrade to Flip-Q Pro Software from Prompter People is a bundle based on the FLEX-15 lightweight teleprompter. In addition to the base teleprompter, the kit adds a wireless remote and an upgrade from the Basic Flip-Q software to Flip-Q Pro. With a 15" (38.1 cm) LCD screen, the teleprompter supports nearly any DV, ranging from MiniDV to ENG, or DSLR camera and offers a visual range up to 18' (5.5 m). The teleprompter comes with an aluminium extrusion frame, which provides balance when used with any camera. An anti-reflection coating in the rear of the screen prevents reflections on the lens.

Featuring a completely tool-less design, the Flex Series Teleprompter allows for a quick setup, and can be easily folded for secure transport and storage use. Height and angle adjustment allows the 60/40 UltraClear glass to be tuned to ensure that the camera is centred and suited to the presenter's viewing angle. Additionally, the top side camera adjustment allows you to adjust the position of the camera horizontally as well as vertically. This freestanding 'run and gun' model teleprompter supports composite, HDMI, and VGA inputs.

Flip-Q Pro software, with a dual screen scrolling engine, reverses the secondary PC or Mac laptop output without reversing the operator's display. This enables the use of less expensive non-reversing VGA displays without sacrificing the functionality or performance. It features an RTF text editor, and allows you to import RTF and TXT files. Additionally, Flip-Q Pro software offers colour background, colour fonts, preset font size, colour, style, black and white fonts, user selectable cue points, run lists, run from selected cursor and selectable cue marker. The software comes on a USB dongle so that it can be used on multiple computers. Just plug the dongle into the computer you want to use at a given time.

The wireless remote gives the presenter the ability to control the text scrolling speed on their own. This is ideal for one-person shoots where the same person is expected to be camera operator, teleprompter operator, and on-air talent. The remote includes a USB receiver that plugs into the computer running the Flip-Q software.
