Description
The Clamp-On Accessory for the microMatteBox from Redrock Micro your microMatteBox from rod-mounted swing-away to a clip-on version. This accessory replaces the microMatteBox rear bellows with a universal clip-on bracket supporting lenses with front outside diameters up to 136 mm. With the Clamp-On Accessory, the microMatteBox does not need rod support to be attached. You can switch between clamp-on and swing-away, whatever your shooting style and production requires.
Additional adapter rings, sold separately, will enable you to connect the microMatteBox to various size lenses. It is recommended to use the the Clamp-On Accessory with lenses that do not have a rotating front as your matte box will then rotate as you focus or zoom, which may lead to vignetting. Rotating your matte box with a polariser or ND Grad, will cause the filter effect to change and become distracting to your audience.
