SHAPE Canon C100/C300/C500 Offset Rig

Description

The Shape Canon C100/C300/C500 Offset Rig is for handheld shooting and specifically designed to work with the Canon Cinema EOS line of cameras, using the included baseplate. The rig allows you to position your camera in front of your eyes while supporting it with your shoulder. It includes Shape's C100/C300/C500 baseplate which features 15 mm rod clamps with spring-loaded levers and 12"(30.5 cm) 15 mm rods. The baseplate maintains the proper lens centre to rod height for use with the available rod mounted accessories. The included Quick Handle Rod Bloc is a rod mounted handgrip assembly that mounts to LWS 15 mm rods. It features Shape's push-button rosette release, which allows you to adjust the angle of the handgrips without having to remove your hands from the rig.

The SHAPE Mini Composite Shoulder Pad is a comfort-padded and comfort-shaped shoulder pad for the back of your camera rig. Outfitted with a 15 mm-mount SHAPE Rod Block, the pad attaches right onto a pair of 15 mm rods, slides into the best position on them, and tightens in place by a quality lever. It also has a black Screw Knob under which you can add a SHAPE Counter Weight or a SHAPE Back Pad, both optional and both back-supported accessories that work as extensions of the shoulder pad. The Screw Knob's screw is a 1/4"-20 screw. If you remove the Screw Knob, you'll have yourself a 1/4"-20 screw-hole to add various 1/4"-20-mount accessories into.

The Shape C300 Baseplate is made specifically for the Canon EOS C300 Camera. This camera accessory provides a small, light setup solution expandable to a more elaborate setup. It features a pair of 15 mm rods that are 12" (30.5 cm) long through the length of the baseplate.

This baseplate attaches underneath the camera with 4 x M4 screws or with 3/8”-16 and 1/4”-20 screws that are included.

The Back Pad from SHAPE is a standard rig component included with most SHAPE camera rigs. Its design features a powder-coated anodised aluminium plate and arm which are attached to a thick padding on the side facing the user. The pad is easy to both attach and remove from your rig, and it supports the SHAPE BOX attachment. Additionally, the pad's position can be adjusted to the user's preference– up to 2"(5.08 cm) vertically and 360° horizontally.

The Shape Quick Handle + Rod Block is a professional video stabilisation accessory with 2 camera handles, each providing an individual rotation angle of 360°. You can attach the handle to the camera platform using a simple screw knob. A simple push button located at the articulation allows easy attachment and removal.

Combined with the anodised aluminium Rod Block, the Quick Handle offers composite camera support for all 15 mm rods. You can achieve precise positioning by sliding the Quick Handle along the rods and tightening the small red knob located on the Rod Block. With 2 screw-threaded holes, the Rod Block provides for attachment of components such as the Quick Handle.

This pair of  Shape 15 mm Aluminium Rods (10") connect to your camera rig, extend it, and let you add various Shape and third-party accessories compatible with 15 mm rods. With these two rods and with a few fundamental accessories, you can most certainly even begin building your own rig from scratch.

The rods are each 15 mm in diameter, 10 inches (25.4 cm) long, hollow, non-threaded, and made of reliable aluminium coated with a clear finish.

The SHAPE Off-Set Bracket will fit on the SHAPE Blackmagic Cage and Shoulder Mount.
