Description

The SHAPE Offset Shoulder Mount Kit for Sony a7R III/a7 III Camera includes the components necessary for protecting and mounting the Sony a7R III or a7 III camera on your shoulder. Included in this kit is a formfitting ergonomic cage which protects the camera and features a horizontal 15mm rod clamp on either side. It provides access to all controls and ports, as well as multiple attachment points for accessories. Included in the kit are a push-button wooden top handle with 15mm LW clamp, a quick release Delta rod base system, a Metabones adapter support bracket, an offset rail Rod Bloc, a pair each of 25.4cm and 30.5cm long 15mm rods, a quick handle Rod Bloc, a mini composite shoulder pad, and a back pad.

The Ergonomic Cage for Sony a7R III/a7 III from SHAPE is a formfitting cage designed for the a7R III or a7 III 4K camera. It protects the camera by securely locking it to the cage. It provides access to all controls and ports, as well as multiple attachment points for accessories. It is equipped with a cable retainer system for securing the three left side cables, and is compatible with a full-sized HDMI cable protector lock to secure the use of your HDMI cable.

There are multiple mounting options for accessories including two cold shoe mounts on top of the cage. These include thirteen 1/4"-20 anti-rotating hole patterns, five ARRI 3/8"-16 anti-rotating hole patterns. 3/8"-16 anti-rotating hole patterns, and two UNC 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes. This cage is made from CNC Machined aluminium and is compatible with the Sony XLR-K2M audio unit. It features an ARRI rosette that can be mounted in four different locations.

The SHAPE Off-Set Bracket will fit on the SHAPE Blackmagic Cage and Shoulder Mount.

This pair of  Shape 15mm Aluminium Rods (25.4cm) connect into your camera rig, extend it, and let you add various Shape and third-party accessories compatible with 15mm rods. With these two rods and with a few fundamental accessories, you can most certainly even begin building your own rig from scratch.

The rods are each 15mm in diameter, 25.4cm long, hollow, non-threaded, and made of reliable aluminium coated with a clear finish.

The Shape Quick Handle + Rod Block is a professional video stabilisation accessory with 2 camera handles, each providing an individual rotation angle of 360°. You can attach the handle to the camera platform using a simple screw knob. A simple push button located at the articulation allows easy attachment and removal.

Combined with the anodised aluminium Rod Block, the Quick Handle offers composite camera support for all 15mm rods. You can achieve precise positioning by sliding the Quick Handle along the rods and tightening the small red knob located on the Rod Block. With 2 screw-threaded holes, the Rod Block provides for attachment of components such as the Quick Handle.

The SHAPE Mini Composite Shoulder Pad is a comfort-padded and comfort-shaped shoulder pad for the back of your camera rig. Outfitted with a 15mm-mount SHAPE Rod Block, the pad attaches right onto a pair of 15mm rods, slides into the best position on them, and tightens in place by a quality lever. It also has a black Screw Knob under which you can add a SHAPE Counter Weight or a SHAPE Back Pad, both optional and both back-supported accessories that work as extensions of the shoulder pad. The Screw Knob's screw is a 1/4"-20 screw. If you remove the Screw Knob, you'll have yourself a 1/4"-20 screw-hole to add various 1/4"-20-mount accessories into.

The Back Pad from SHAPE is a standard rig component included with most SHAPE camera rigs. Its design features a powder coated anodised aluminium plate and arm which are attached to a thick padding on the side facing the user. The pad is easy to both attach and remove from your rig, and it supports the SHAPE BOX attachment. Additionally, the pad's position can be adjusted to the user's preference– up to 5cm vertically and 360° horizontally.
