The box utilises the company's Mu-Metal shielded STLX transformer, which is specifically designed to handle high signal levels and prevent interference. Having already own the Samson S-Max MCD2 Stereo PC Passive PC Direct Box this adds to the usefulness of converting stereo output into one mono input channel on a mixing desk or to a one XLR input speaker.(I mainly use Mono FOH for "Even" listening coverage)
