Description

The Complete Rig Solution from SHAPE is a camera support system designed for the Canon C700. It includes the REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate, a top plate with extendable top handle, a pair of telescopic handles compatible with ARRI rosettes, a 4 x 5.6" matte box, and a snap-on follow focus unit. The follow focus snaps onto 15 mm rods, allowing for quick attachment, removal, and repositioning. The matte box features a swing-away system and two 4 x 5.6" rotating filter stages.

The REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate comes integrated with a shoulder mount, a pair of 8" (20 cm) standard 15 mm rods, and a pair of 4" (10 cm) standard 15 mm rods. The sliding baseplate provides quick positioning of your camera and accessories for an optimal adjustment of your camera's balance centre. The included left and right telescopic handgrips attach to the sides of the baseplate via standard ARRI rosettes. Each arm features three points of articulation, combined with approximately 2" (5.08 cm) of arm extension allowing you to adjust the arms for your comfort.

The base of the top plate features a cheese-style design with several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-20 threaded holes on top and sides. It comes with an extendable REVOLT top handle that gives you a solid and comfortable grip while shooting. The top plate also includes a push button arm with viewfinder bracket that can easily be attached to the top handle for an optimal setup of the rig. Both the baseplate as well as the top plate feature a magnet compartment for Allen key storage.

The REVOLT top handle grip frame is made from robust CNC Machined aluminium and the finger grip is made from Canadian maple wood for maximum comfort. You can quickly slide the handle length horizontally for an extension of approximately 3"(7.62 cm) from its original position, thanks to the ratchet knob bracket system. The handle features six threaded holes that allow for mounting the push button arm to the top plate. It also features one 15 mm rod clamp for attaching a viewfinder (not included) to the push button arm. The four 1/4"-20 threaded holes in the front and two hot brackets (front and back) that allow for multiple accessory attachments.

Featuring a sliding camera plate, SHAPE 's REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate can accommodate rigs of varying sizes. Simply attach your camera via 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screws to the top plate, and slide it onto the shoulder plate. Fore and aft movement allows you to balance the weight of your setup properly. Further adjustments can be made by moving the shoulder pad. The 15 mm rod clamps at the front and rear of the baseplate allow you to secure 15 mm accessories such as a matte box, follow focus, lens motors, lens supports, battery plates, or external recorders. Since the front rod clamp is attached to the top plate, the rod-mounted accessories don't need to be repositioned as the rig is adjusted. Additionally, handles can be mounted to the ARRI standard rosettes on either side of the plate. When not shoulder-mounted, the baseplate can be secured to a standard VCT-14 ENG quick release in a matter of seconds, saving time on set.

The black Telescopic Handles with ARRI Rosettes from SHAPE  are left and right handgrips that can be attached to cameras and camera support hardware that has standard ARRI rosettes. Each arm features three points of articulation, combined with the approximately two inches of arm extension allows you to adjust the arms for your comfort. The arms attach to your camera or support via an ARRI compatible rosette with spring-loaded locking levers, which allow you to lock your arms in place without having a full 360° of rotation.

Shape's unique push-button articulating joint provides additional articulation near the rosette, while a second push-button articulation joint allows you to rotate and precisely position the rubber handgrips. A second spring-loaded locking lever along the arms allows you to extend the arms up to two inches and rotate the handgrips throughout 360°. The arms are indexed for extension and rotation, so you can quickly move between known setups.

The Top Handle and Top Plate are designed to give you a solid and comfortable grip for the manipulation of your Canon C700. Their "Push Button Arm with view finder bracket" can easily be attached to the EVF Mount of the Top Handle for an optimal setup of your Canon C700 camera rig. The handle grip frame is made from robust CNC machined aluminium and the finger grip is made from genuine Canadian maple wood for maximum comfort. You can quickly adjust and lock the handle length for an extension of approximately 3 inches(7.62 cm) from its original position in order to optimise the balance of your camera to your lens type. You can strongly mount the plate at the top of your CANON C700 with 1/4-20 stainless screws. The Top Plate is also designed to easily attach the "SHAPE REVOLT TOP HANDLE". The camera top plate is made from robust CNC Machined Aluminium and only weighs 0.25 kg. The design also features a magnet compartment to store your Allen Key.

The SHAPE Follow Focus Pro mounts on 15mm rods and features an adjustable arm which puts the gear at the optimal position for the lens, no matter what the diameter is. The unit snaps onto 15 mm rods, allowing for quick attachment, removal, and re-positioning. Two 0.8 pitch gears come included and give you a choice of either 28 teeth or 43 teeth - depending on the throw distance of the lens. Additional features include two adjustable hard stops, removable marking disc, and an industry standard accessory port for using optional whips and cranks.

The 2-Stage 4 x 5.6" Matte Box from SHAPE can be used as a clip-on matte box or can be mounted on industry-standard 15 mm rod system. It is designed for light control, insertion, and adjustment of filters. It features a two-stage rotating 4 x 5.6" filter holder. The matte box accepts lenses with a front diameter up to 114 mm. It comes with six step-down rings that allow you to fit lenses with an outer diameter of 52, 58, 62, 67, 72, 77, and 82 mm as well.
