Analytical functions:

The Finaliser 96K offers several extremely useful signal analysis tools: Phase Correlation Meter, Level Flow Meter, Peak Hold Meter and Digital I/O Status. A Calibration Tone Generator is also included for setting parameter baselines. With these utilities, the more experienced or adventurous user may tweak the signal path extensively, with more than 90 parameters to choose from — and all of the Finaliser's functions are easily monitored on its graphic LCD and seven precision LED meters.

Dither like a pro:

The use of dithering can be very important when interfacing digitally between audio equipment. When resolution is changed from higher to lower, dithering is necessary to minimise distortion. In the Finaliser 96K, you have access to user-friendly TPDF Dithering. The output resolution of the Finaliser 96K is 24bit, and when the receiver of the Finaliser's signal has a lower resolution, output Dither must be applied to equal the resolution of the receiver. You have the option of several types of dither with the Finaliser 96K: if your low-level signals are in Stereo, Uncorrelated Dither is the best choice; if they are in Mono, Correlated Dither will be the most unobtrusive; and if the low-level signals are unfocused, Inverse Dither may be the best option.
