Description

The Shooter HD takes the existing functionality of the Shooter SD to the nest level by the use of a heavier duty extrusion (16mm rails instead of 10mm). As a camera slider doubling up as a shoulder support, the Shooter HD is designed to complement owners of medium to heavy camera/camcorder setups, and is designed and built for heavier duty performance.

The HD range is intended for larger setups or for dslr users who are using rail systems with matte boxes and larger follow focus/audio recorders/mics as part of their rig.

Even though we’ve combined both a camera slider and a shoulder support into one product, you can be assured that the build quality of the Shooter HD is of the highest standard, and represents a premium product in the portable dolly market.

The Glidetrack Shooter HD is based on a heavy-duty 16mm rail with a 60mm wide slider car, and with wider feet than the SD to make it even more stable when used with depth of field adapters and camera setups featuring longer lenses. Available in 0.5m, 0.75m, and 1m lengths – there’s a Glidetrack Shooter HD to suit your requirements. As with all the Glidetrack models you have the option of tripod (2m requires twin tripods) or floor mounting it to give you a wide variety of shots. At the heart of the Glidetrack system lies an industrial grade rail and bearing system. The rail is made of hard anodized aluminium and the bearings themselves are of industrial grade self lubricating plastic that makes them extremely insensitive to dirt and dust ingress and corrosion resistant, which cannot be said of traditional bearing systems. The bearings are extremely hard wearing and are rated to run for many thousands of kilometres of travel before needing replaced. Your elbow will wear out before they do!
