The Redrock Micro 37-72mm Step-Up Ring is designed for use with the M2 or M2 Encore Lens Adapter. It converts a camcorder's 37mm filter thread to the 72mm thread of the M2, allowing the camera to connect securely to the adapter for shooting with photo and cinema lenses. Camcorders using 37mm lenses include the Sony HDR-CX550V, HDR-XR550V and HDR-CX500V.
