The Rycote Large Modular Suspension Mount is a complete microphone suspension solution for field audio engineers and boom pole operators. The suspension is also the core to Rycote's modular windshield system, suspending the microphone and windshield using a secure lightweight design. The 4-point suspension features modular components allowing easy replacement and customizing. The mount is equipped with a pistol grip handle and boom adapter in the base. Two O-rings and suspension bands secure microphone clips.
The suspensions provide complete isolation against handling and cable-borne noises, by supporting the microphone in a cradle arrangement using Lyre suspension webs. The patented Lyres are extremely robust, and virtually unbreakable, as they do not use no elastic or rubber components which are prone to wear and tear.
