The Behringer CE500D High-Performance Active 100-Watt Commercial Installed Sound Speaker is a multi-purpose active speaker with Class-D amplifier technology, a 5 1/2" woofer, a 1/2" tweeter, and standard XLR mic and 1/8" mini-jack input connectors for connecting a mixer, computer, or even an MP3 deck. It can be used in several environments for restaurants, shops, exhibitions in multimedia, home recording, A/V production, and public address system type applications.
You don't need a mixer to use the CE500D—just provide operating power, connect a microphone (sold separately), and start talking. Sometimes that's all you need.
