Manufactured by KLARK TEKNIK, the Behringer NCAT5E-50M Tour-Grade CAT5E Cable is designed utilising a Neutrik etherFLEX cable along with shielded Hirose RJ45 jacks protected by Neutrik etherCON cover terminals on both ends. This 164' cable sports four pairs of stranded AWG 26 wires that are encased with PUR and FRNC layers for enhanced cable resilience. Moreover, it features dual shielding for protection against EMI and ESD interference and has been tested for both AES50 and EtherSound audio networking protocols
For handling touring applications, Behringer has included a Schill cable drum that is made to be durable and lightweight. It comes with an auxiliary winder and an integrated adjustable break, which stops any inadvertent drum rotation.

Flexibility
The EtherFLEX cable structure includes four pairs of stranded AWG 26 wires, designed to withstand repeated flexing and stress better than solid wires. The wires are surrounded by conductive foil and additional braided shielding for rejection of EMI, RF, and ESD. Its inner FRNC jacket is separated from the rugged outer FLEX PUR jacket by a thin layer of talc powder, for improved cable handling properties.
Drum Spooled
The synthetic rubber material can withstand temperatures from -20 to 70°C and is resistant to certain chemicals and oils. The integrated adjustable break stops any inadvertent drum rotation. The cable is wound on the auxiliary spool for easily connecting the drum to the mixing console. Rubber caps on both etherCON connectors cover terminals during setup and transport, and hook-and-loop fasteners secure cable ends during transportation.
