The Blackmagic Design StudioBridge 10G PWR is a 2 RU IP video bridge that enables integration of multiple 10G Ethernet streams into advanced, high-bandwidth 100G broadcast infrastructures. Designed to support up to eight channels of SMPTE 2110 video at resolutions up to 4K60, this unit is capable of converting 10GbE IP video streams into dual 100GbE QSFP28 outputs with SMPTE 2022-7 redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted signal delivery in mission-critical environments. Each input provides automatic format detection for both HD and Ultra HD video standards and supports 16 channels of embedded audio, making the StudioBridge 10G PWR compatible with modern IP production workflows.
Power and Connectivity
Tailored for live production and broadcast deployments, all eight 10GbE RJ45 inputs can each deliver up to 90W of PoE++ power. This feature allows direct connection and power supply to cameras, converters, and other devices through a single cable, streamlining setup and reducing clutter in demanding production scenarios.
Monitoring and Control
For local management, the device features a 2.2-inch front-panel LCD with an integrated control knob and navigation buttons, enabling real-time monitoring of video signals, audio levels, and overall system status. It also includes a built-in speaker and a headphone output, providing users with immediate confidence monitoring for audio signals.
External Control and Redundancy
External configuration is facilitated through a dedicated RJ45 port supporting NMOS-based management, as well as a USB-C interface for streamlined setup and firmware updates. Dual IEC power inputs are included to provide redundant power, ensuring continuous and reliable operation even in the event of a power supply failure.
