The DigiTech DOD Rubberneck Analog Delay with Tap Tempo is a versatile pedal designed for electric guitar players. It offers a wide range of features including controls for delay timing, feedback, gain, tone, and more. The pedal allows you to introduce modulations into the delay with concentric knobs for rate and depth adjustments. You can also choose how the tails will behave when you disengage the pedal using a three-way toggle switch.
With the tap tempo function, you can easily adjust the delay time using a dual-function footswitch. Additionally, a three-position toggle switch allows you to select different subdivisions for your repeats, giving them a triplet feel if desired. The same footswitch also operates as a Regen control, overriding the Repeats knob for instant modulations in feedback/repeats.
To preserve the integrity of your dry signal, the pedal features a true-bypass circuit path. However, the bypass switch also enables a unique effect called rubbernecking, where the delay's timing is stretched or compressed. The Rubber Rate potentiometer next to the bypass footswitch allows you to customize the extent of this timing change.
The pedal includes an effects loop, allowing you to incorporate external effects through its send/return jack. Additionally, it has a dedicated 1/4" jack for connecting compatible footswitches like the FSX3 to control various parameters. The DigiTech DOD Rubberneck Analog Delay with Tap Tempo requires a 9 VDC external power supply, available separately.
