The Eve Audio SC203 Master/Slave System offers impressive features. It includes a 3" woofer with a 1" voice coil that can handle a longer linear excursion. The speaker also has a large driver magnet to ensure stability, especially in border areas. With a 16mm high voice coil, you can easily achieve a linear back and forth swing of ±5mm. The SC203 also comes with a passive radiator at the back, which strengthens low-frequency reproduction and allows the speaker response to reach as low as 62 Hz (-3 dB) with minimal distortion.
Each SC203 setup is designed as a 2-way master-slave system and boasts four power amplifiers. Each woofer and tweeter is equipped with its own dedicated 30W PWM amplifier, complete with a separate filter section for precise control. In terms of connectivity, the SC203 offers three inputs: analogue RCA, digital optical, and USB. Additionally, a volume-controlled subwoofer output allows you to connect an extra subwoofer (TS107 or TS108) to the master speaker, creating a powerful 2.1 system. By using the DIP switch on the speaker's back panel, you can select the SC203 to function as satellites from 80 Hz and upwards, or as full-range units.
To enhance flexibility, the SC203 comes with the FlexiPad. This v-notch-shaped orange rubberized pad allows you to decouple the speaker from its base and precisely angle it at 0°, 7.5°, or 15°. This compact speaker is suitable for professional desktops with limited physical space, as well as discerning home and gaming users.
