At the heart of all Eartec equestrian systems is the Eartec EPak Pro Wireless Headset System, a compact full duplex radio that weighs only 70g and is clipped to the jacket or tucked inside a pocket. The accompanying Cyber headset features a slender back band so can be worn comfortably with any riding helmet. The complete system provides students with the flexibility to either listen / monitor their instructor or communicate simultaneously and hands free.

Frequency Hopping is the name of the specialty wireless protocol utilized by all EPak systems to dodge or circumvent interference. EPak feature encrypted digital transmissions that act like a bouncing ball, constantly moving from channel to channel every fraction of a second. Since they only transmit on frequencies that are clear multiple EPak systems can easily work in harmony in the same venue and will not interfere with other wireless equipment.
