The Electro-Harmonix Satisfaction Plus Fuzz-Tone Pedal builds upon its predecessor, the Satisfaction pedal, by introducing new options for tone sculpting. These additions include a Fat/Norm switch, Bias control, and Tone knob, which greatly expand the range of sonic possibilities available to the user.
By switching from Norm to Fat mode, players can unlock a larger and warmer sound, perfect for delivering massive leads and thunderous riffs. The Tone control enables broad tonal shifting, functioning as an active tilt-shift AEQ that allows for the inverse adjustment of treble and bass frequencies within the fuzz. The Bias setting further adds to the pedal's versatility, allowing users to shape the fuzz from a harmoniously balanced open tone to a snarling, gated-voltage-sag effect, as required. The Attack and Volume settings offer precise control over gain and output levels. The Satisfaction Plus comes equipped with a true-bypass circuit and includes a 9V battery. Additionally, it can be powered using a separate 9V adapter, which is available for purchase.
