The Gitzo GK1545T-82TQD Series 1 Traveler Carbon Fiber Tripod with Center Ball Head is a compact support with legs that fold around the centre column and optional ball head. These reverse-folding legs contribute to the tripod's folded length of just 42cm. It extends to 1.5m high and can hold up to 10kg worth of gear. With the included short centre column installed, the tripod can get down to 22cm for macro or low-angle shooting.
The tripod employs Carbon eXact tubing for added strength and stiffness compared to the Carbon 6X tubes. Traveller G-lock is a pared-down version of Gitzo's G-lock, specifically designed for the Traveller tripods to reduce overall size. Re-designed space-saving rubber feet can be easily replaced if they are worn out. A shoulder strap is included for easy carrying.
The Gitzo GH1382TQD Series 1 Traveller Centre Ball Head is an Arca-type compatible head that is an ideal match for Traveller Series 0 and 1 tripods. It stands 10cm high, holds up to 10.8kg, and weighs 0.4kg. The head has a separate lock for the 360° panning and another to control the movement of the ball. A tungsten disulfide coating on the ball helps keep the ball movement smooth and minimises stick-slip. A screw-knob lock tightens down on the included quick-release plate and a bubble level helps you maintain straight horizons in your images.
