Absolute beast of a stand, it is rock solid to the point you'd question ever needing a sandbag, for photography use at least! The only negative thing I'd have to say about it is that it is VERY heavy (again, relative to most photo stands - it's probably light for film types :P), however as long as you know that going in, you can't go wrong.
