The Lexar Professional Workflow CFexpress 4.0 Type A Card Reader is designed to be used in conjunction with the Professional Workflow Docking Station and Workflow Go through its 40 Gb/s USB-C interface. However, it comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable for standalone use as well. Along with its CFexpress 4.0 Type A card slot, this reader is compatible with both Windows and Mac systems, and is also backward compatible with CFexpress 2.0 Type A. Its aluminium finish adds scratch resistance, and for systems that don't support the 40 Gb/s USB4 standard, this card reader works with USB 2.0 and later, albeit with reduced transfer rates corresponding to those standards.
