The Nitecore NL2150HPi Li-ion battery itself is a fantastic "purpose designed" battery, so I gave it 5/5.. It is hard to find though and often anyone who stocks it runs out of stock really quickly, not only that but I have also seen some ridiculously high prices on them. I have mine powering a Nitecore P30i torch which is very powerful and a fantastic flashlight and needs a good long lasting battery. This battery easily handles the load. I use Nitecore chargers to charge them and that can take a couple of hours depending on how drained they are. I charge them at no more than 500ma's which is my standard policy with all Li-ion batteries, to ensure they can stay in good condition over several years.
The one disadvantage of the NL2150HPi is that it has both Positive & Negative at each and of the battery, which is a little bit of a pain, as you can't use a standard 21700 Li-ion cell in its place (which I have plenty of, even up to 5000mah units), making it a bit of an oddball, and you be sure that you actually need this particular battery before you buy it because in some cases it also can't be used in place of the standard 21700. It is made only for Nitecore's "i" series of torches and other appliances.
For me though, now I have a spare and the burden of looking for them is over - for now anyway..
