You get the lined 1555 case with a Pick-N-Pluck foam insert that allows you to customize the interior to your specific gear to ensure it is fully protected. By giving you the freedom to remove pieces of the foam, you're able to precisely fit your equipment to eliminate any shifting during handling.

Built for strength and portability, the yellow Pelican 1555Air Gen 2 Hard Carry Case is designed to be dustproof, fully watertight, and crushproof to protect your valuable gear against the harshest handling, shipping, and environmental conditions on the planet.
Your case is made from a super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer, with honeycomb structural elements, so it's up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers It has newly designed dual push-button latches that provide ease-of-use versus previous iterations. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating to be dust and waterproof, dual 5/16" (8mm) diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. This valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurised seal that may develop. A polycarbonate card holder may be placed on the front or side of the case.
Pelican 4-Piece Foam Set for 1555Air Case
Designed for their 1555Air case, the Pelican 4-Piece Foam Set consists of a convoluted eggcrate foam lid insert, a base layer for the bottom of the case, and two pieces of customizable Pick-N-Pluck foam. Pelican recommends that you leave at least an inch of foam between your gear and the inside walls of the case to make sure it is well protected.
