Description

The Radial Engineering Catapult TX4M 4-Channel for Microphone Signal Routing over Cat5/6 is a versatile four-channel snake specifically crafted for routing mic-level signals over long distances using shielded Cat5/Cat6 cable without compromising quality. This feature makes it ideal for live sound reinforcement tasks, enabling stage technicians to establish quality audio connections across large venues with cost-effective cabling. It also caters to system contractors, providing them with the ability to effortlessly move audio throughout different spaces utilizing pre-installed networks.

Featuring four XLR input jacks and transformer-balanced through-outputs optimized for mic-level signals, the Catapult TX4M is designed to accommodate phantom power when utilizing shielded Cat5 cable. The inclusion of two RJ45-type etherCON connections further enhances flexibility. One functions as an output, designed to be paired with the RX4M on the receiving end, while the other serves as a throughput for signal routing to additional Catapults. This configuration allows users to effortlessly split and route mic-level signals to up to three different locations.

Equipped with a ground-lift switch to combat noise interference on the Cat5 or Cat6 line, a durable steel handle for easy transportation, and four protective bumpers for shielding the Ethernet jacks and ground-lift switch from damage, the Catapult TX4M offers not only functionality but also durability for extensive use in various audio applications.
