Description

Add a shoulder mount and a variety of accessories to your Sony FX6 camera with this SHAPE Baseplate with Top Plate Kit for Sony FX6. The kit includes a lightweight aluminum baseplate and a cheese-style top plate.

The VCT baseplate incorporates two ARRI-compatible rosettes for attaching optional handgrips and accessories, features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera mounting screws, and it is VCT-14 quick release compatible. The aluminum top plate mounts around your original FX6 handle and features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, as well as ARRI-style anti-twist accessory threads to attach an extension arm, monitor mount, or other gear.

Its sliding shoulder pad plate allows you to optimally position your camera on your shoulder or rig. The front and rear 15mm LWS rod clamps enable you to mount the included 8 and 4" pairs of rods to support accessories in the front and the rear.

SHAPE Top Plate for Sony FX6

Add accessories to the top of your Sony FX6 camera using this Top Plate from SHAPE. The U-shaped top plate installs on top of the FX6 using the four included screws, and it surrounds the camera's original top handle, so you don't have to remove it for installation.

The cheese-style plate features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads, as well as 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist mounts all around the plate to add a variety of accessories such as extension arms, a monitor mount, an EVF mount, 15mm rod clamps, or other gear.

SHAPE REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate

Featuring a sliding camera plate, SHAPE's REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate can accommodate rigs of varying sizes. Simply attach your camera via 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screws to the top plate, and slide it onto the shoulder plate. Fore and aft movement allows you to balance the weight of your setup properly. Further adjustments can be made by moving the shoulder pad. The 15mm rod clamps at the front and rear of the baseplate allow you to secure 15mm accessories such as a matte box, follow focus, lens motors, lens supports, battery plates, or external recorders. Since the front rod clamp is attached to the top plate, the rod-mounted accessories don't need to be repositioned as the rig is adjusted. Additionally, handles can be mounted to the ARRI standard rosettes on either side of the plate. When not shoulder-mounted, the baseplate can be secured to a standard VCT-14 ENG quick release in a matter of seconds, saving time on set.
