Description

The SHAPE Blackmagic 4k Kit is designed to protect and manipulate the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4k. The kit contains a camera cage for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, a Push Button Wooden Top Handle, 15mm Quick Release Rod Base system, Follow Focus Friction and Gear Clic and Matte box 4x4.

The Camera Cage is made from CNC machined aluminium, the top and bottom of the cage have been designed with 1/4-20 threaded holes with anti-rotating pins to secure the camera's position. The threaded holes also allow for an easy tripod plate attachment while allowing easy access to the memory card, battery door, lens release button and all other controls and outputs. The cage also features a full-sized HDMI cable protector lock, cold shoe at the top of the cage to mount accessories and several 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes with an anti-rotating pin for additional mounting options. The cage is lightweight and robust and is easy to assemble and disassemble.

The Push-Button Top Handle features CNC machined parts and genuine Canadian Maple wood for maximum comfort. It attaches to the camera cage via cold shoe attachment system and was designed to give you a solid and comfortable grip on your camera and rig.

The Quick Release Rod Base system is made from CNC machined parts and hard anodized aluminium. It can be used as a table stand or attached easily to a tripod. The rod bloc travel height is adjustable with included allan key to adjust your cameras optical centre, matte box and Follow Focus. The bottom of the base block features a removable Metabones Support Bracket to support heavier lenses which can be detached easily if not needed. The System adds simple and quick adjustment of up to 360° with one red patented push-button. The handle is ergonomic with rubber handgrip for stability and precision. It also supports quick release handgrips with 3 points of adjustment and is compatible with 15mm rods.

The Follow Focus Friction and Gear Clic are constructed from lightweight anodized aluminium and are CNC machined. The Focus disk is surrounded by a ring of high-quality rubber which provides firm contact with the lens and ensures accurate and slip-free focussing. They are compatible with standard 15mm rods.

Matte box kit features 2x 4x4 rotating filters with swing away system (French Flag/Side wings with hooks), a 100mm rear opening, stretch ring and knobs for height adjustment. It also contains a set of 4 matte box rings: 66, 72, 82, and 90mm sizes.
