The SHAPE Creator Camera Cage for Nikon ZR provides an adaptable foundation for building out a complete Nikon ZR cinema rig while preserving functionality. CNC-machined from aluminium, the cage secures to the ZR via a 1/4"-20 mounting screw and locking block and wraps around the camera's circumference for reinforced protection and mounting flexibility. Multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes with ARRI-style locating patterns support the attachment of monitors, wireless receivers, articulating arms, and other production accessories.
Built-in NATO rails on the top and side enable fast, tool-free mounting of compatible handles and clamps, while the top-mounted cold shoe accommodates microphones, compact lights, or wireless units. The cage incorporates an Arca-Swiss quick release plate that can be attached to the base or side for rapid transitions between tripods, gimbals, and handheld operation, with full compatibility for DJI RS3-series stabilisers.
Connectivity and Access
An integrated micro-HDMI and USB-C cable clamp with thumbscrews prevents accidental disconnection during shooting, and the design maintains unobstructed access to the ZR's hot shoe, controls, ports, memory card slots, and battery compartment.
