Samyang is pleased to announce the AF 135mm f/1.8 FE Lens, an autofocus-enabled reimagining of their classic MF 135mm lens to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its release.
Samyang's MF 135mm f/2 has long been prized for portrait photography thanks to its beautiful background expression, but over time the MF 135mm went beyond portrait photography and became more popular for landscape and astrophotography with its excellent resolution at a bright maximum aperture.
Now the AF 135mm f/1.8 FE builds upon an outstanding optical performance that has been recognised for over 50 years, with optimised focal features like Focus Hold, Range Limiter, Customisable Focus Ring, and Astro-Focus mode. The optical system has also been redesigned for superb resolution, gorgeous bokeh, and extremely well-controlled coma flare, all in a lighter, more compact package.
