The SmallRig 5195 Cage for Insta360 X5 provides all-around protection for your camera while expanding its functionality with multiple accessory interfaces. The flip-top design accommodates premium lens guards to prevent front-element scratches, while built-in noise-reducing windshield foam on both sides ensures pristine audio capture.
Engineered for efficiency, the cage features effortless battery access through precision side cutouts—no disassembly required. Its form-fitting design hugs the camera's contours with interior silicone padding to prevent body abrasions. Installation is effortless: simply slide the camera in from the top and secure with the included thumb screw.
For accessories, one side features a cold shoe mount and a 1/4"-20 anti-twist threaded hole for mounting microphones or lights. Apart from a foldable action camera mount on the base, there is also a 1/4"-20 threaded hole for attaching tripods or selfie sticks (ID5403). In addition, the cage includes a silicone lens cover (for use with the cage only) to protect the lens from scratches during storage.
