Description

The Soundcraft Si Performer 2 Digital Live Console is a versatile solution for live sound reinforcement in various settings like houses of worship, music venues, theatres, and more. It offers integrated DMX control and support for Soundcraft's ViSi Remote App for Apple iPad, making it ideal for applications where one operator needs to handle both sound and lighting.

This mixer boasts a wide range of features including 24 recallable mono microphone preamplifiers, 8 line inputs, AES digital I/O, 80 total mix channels, and 20-sub group/aux busses. It also offers 4 FX busses, 8 matrix busses, 8 mute groups, and 8 VCA groups. The mixer includes assignable insert loops, selectable delay on all I/O, Harman HiQnet integration, headphone monitoring, LCR panning, motorized faders with backlit LED Faderglow visual feedback, and a color touch screen interface.

Powered by EMMA DSP processors, the mixer offers an impressive 448 rack units worth of DSP. It features 4-band fully parametric AEQ, four MX4000-based Lexicon stereo effects engines, and extensive dynamic processing. Customization options include assignable faders, assignable patching, and flexible routing. The four mix busses utilize internal Lexicon FX processors and feature compressors, 4-band fully parametric AEQ, graphic EQs, and delay.

A standout feature of this mixer is its integrated DMX 512 control interface, which allows for simultaneous control of lighting and live sound. With full automation, users can easily manage a simple lighting display while mixing.

For expanded connectivity, the mixer supports ViSi Connect option cards that provide an additional 128x96 input/output paths. These cards accept various formats such as MultiDigital Card, BSS Digital Audio Bus, Dante, CAT5 or optical MADI, AVIOM, and CobraNet. This allows for seamless integration with other live mixing and multi-track recording environments.

The ViSi Remote iPad control application further enhances the user experience by enabling adjustments to individual channel strip settings using an iPad. This includes modifying the AEQ, compressor, gate, pan, LR/mono, and phase invert switches to optimize the front of house mix.
